Nigeria will celebrate its 54th Independence Day in the year of its centenary celebrations (100 years of its creat
ion) on October 1st.
This will also be 170 days since the Chibok Girls were abducted.
Nigeria cannot celebrate independence and freedom when at least 219 of its citizens are being held captive.
We recognize the progress that our armed forces are making to prevent the takeover of Maiduguri by Boko Haram but our girls still remain captive.
By lending your voice, you will be joining Nigerians and friends to say “We Remember the Chibok Girls and we ask the Nigerian Government to bring them back now & alive!”
